Nothing like being frightened awake by a phone call at 4:30 in the morning from Morocco none the less--let's not go there for now.
Anyway, went to see the El Greco exhibit on Friday night with my friend had a really great time!!! The exhibit was excellent--crowded but it was a great example of his lifetime and his work.
On Saturday, Issame and I went to see the final part of Lord of the Rings
I was quite excited about seeing it. I was a bit sad at the end that the trilogy is over. Everything came together so beautifully I thought, that I guess I couldn't help but get a bit emotional at the end. I did think it was good and even though it something like 3 1/2 hours, I felt like it was a bit rushed but I guess when you're trying to save the world-you have to move fast.
Well, to some great protests, the Christmas tree came down yesterday. Gosh, that was a lot of work! Poor thing, it served us well!
I'd just like to thank Britney Spears for keeping the world (in the crazy state that it is in) in perspective.
And to keep those that were lost in that Egyptian plane crash in our thoughts.
moroccan stew
originally about an imperfect moroccan-american couple trying to make good on what they've got but that turned out to be too scandalous for some. So now, it's about me and my interests in Moroccan culture, arts, politics and social issues. Don;t get me wrong, there'll still be some bee-ing and moaning along the way and oh, yeah laughs, ha! ha! certainly lots of laughs!
