"Hurricane A-Comin!"

Another one of these bad boys is heading towards Florida. My poor Mom. This is not what she signed up for when they moved down there. She's literally worried sick. I'm at a loss for what to do for her. She doesn't want me to come down and she doesn't want to come up. She just wants it to be over. So send all your positive beams of solace in the direction of Volusia County for my amazing mom!

So the wedding is over...for now. The Moroccan version of a Las Vegas wedding: get engaged, kill a sheep, and BANG! your married. Issame and I didn't have the killing of farm animals cause there was a lot of consummating going on prior to the engagment. If I recall correctly, I think maybe one of us killed a mosquito that night.


Got to say that NYC has been pretty quiet. Keep in mind though I'm all the way downtown away from the madness. I've never seen the city so quiet. It's kind of nice. The more annoying thing is the protestors because they slow down or completely stop traffic but it is their right to be there and its might right to get a little annoyed. I really don't have much to say on the political end...I just want it all over so we can proceed.

Just heard from Courtney, she's all settled in Morocco and teaching. The experience is better than visiting cause she's not dealing with the whole, hole in the floor bathroom thing. Adil just arrived too so I'm beaming with happiness (and a little jealousy too) for them.
