"Love & Cous Cous"

Dum dum dee dum
It's the big day, nothing fancy. They're going to have a small engagement party first and then go to the city hall for the marriage papers. They won't have the big traditional wedding until a year from now. Kind of feel bad that I'm not there because all of our "couple" friends are there but I don't want to think about that......

Class was great last night. Slightly intimidating because there are Ph.D students in it who are being advised by the professor, so she tends to talk directly to them. Plus I have no back ground in the history of Central or South America and she speaks to us as if we do but that just gives me an incentive to read and learn more.


Spent over a $100 on books for 2 classes, just more to add to the growing collection. Habibi will love that. I'm missing him too much these days. he's on standby for a flight on Sept. 11th none the less but he may switch with his brother and come back on the 15th which is what I'm advising him to do.
