I've been checking out other people's blogs lately to see what other's are discussing and sharing--there's some pretty crazy stuff out there. Makes my blog look like a mention in the New York Times. Alot of the talk is about politics--something I'm not looking to get into.
Last night went to the Whitney's opening for the Biennial. Much better than in past years. There was a definite discussion going on between the younger artists and the older ones. There were tons and tons of cheese stix--mmmm, yummy! I like going to openings not so much for the art--it's way too crowded to actually see anything. I go more to see what people are wearing. Some outrageous get-ups last night. This one chick was only wearing a thong and a bra with a feather boa. I nicknamed her Madame Cheeks.
Got my new Gevalia coffeemaker yesterday with mocha and french roast coffee. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm...so nice this morning. It was a real treat.
Have a fundraising event to go to tonight....need to raise the dollas
Keeping the people of Spain in my daily thoughts.....
moroccan stew
originally about an imperfect moroccan-american couple trying to make good on what they've got but that turned out to be too scandalous for some. So now, it's about me and my interests in Moroccan culture, arts, politics and social issues. Don;t get me wrong, there'll still be some bee-ing and moaning along the way and oh, yeah laughs, ha! ha! certainly lots of laughs!
