Woke up to a light dusting of snow on the ground so you know what that meant? I got to wear my new Timberlands boots that Issame got for me. So warm and toasty, I felt like I was flying.
Issame is heading into Manhattan today to hopefully get some stuff straightened out with HR. Would you believe these are trying to re-hire him because they know that they fired him illegally. Argh! Will the drama ever end? He's also heading to the Moroccan consulate to renew his passport. Hopefully we can get all his paper worked settled before we can even think about heading overseas. Keep your fingers crossed for me that I can get that concept through to Mr- You-know-who's thick Moroccan head. .
Here's what I think about that...
!
Today was the first day that I actually felt healthy and well rested. That virus really knocked me off my feet . I actually woke up when my alarm went off and got up and did pilates for the first time in months . It felt good to stretch out these tired old muscles. I feel like I've lived a lifetime already just in the amount of work I've done this morning. Well off to eat some lunch...
I lost momentum around 2:30 p.m. And now I just found out that an article of clothing I sent to be exchanged via the U.S Post office might have been lost. .
I'll try not to let it worry me................
moroccan stew
originally about an imperfect moroccan-american couple trying to make good on what they've got but that turned out to be too scandalous for some. So now, it's about me and my interests in Moroccan culture, arts, politics and social issues. Don;t get me wrong, there'll still be some bee-ing and moaning along the way and oh, yeah laughs, ha! ha! certainly lots of laughs!
