"A Full House"

Watching The ClockIt's after 3 p.m.
It's one of those real slow Friday's where I just keep checking the e-mail in the hopes that something will come in or I'll hear from someone I haven't talk to in awhile. But no such luck.

I figure I should mention this now but I'm going to be selling some Moroccan crafts on this site as well as on Ebay. I have shoes from Essouira which are handcrafted colored straw with different designs nad beads. They are like fun, pointy slides, they remind me of princess shoes from Arabian Nights or Sinbad.
Camel
Some scarves/shawls from Marrakech, these are hand dyed and have multiple uses. They can be used for scarves in the winter, shawls for a work or evening outfit and they are great to travel with because they can double as a blanket (if ya need one) or a towel and they are so beautiful. (I won't be selling any of the ones I used for a towel- Lol )
Shower 2
Some Thuya wood tea trays. They are all hand made and individually carved. They can be used to serve cakes, cookies, tea and or coffee, for decorative purposes or to serve breakfast to a loved one. They make great housewarming and wedding gifts.

Hopefully I'll be posting photos of them this weekend. If you are so eager to get one feel free to e-mail me at wedaddy@hotmail.com My prices are really reasonable and all of these products are made by members of our family or very close friends. The money will be going to pay off my tuition bill so you'll not only be getting a unique Moroccan gift but helping me pay for school. Awesome!

Well the house is full again and all my hard cleaning efforts have been wasted--the place is such a mess. I'm hoping I can catch up up on some sleep and get back on some sort of routine over the weekend.

Brother In LawBIL is back and happy now that he's married. My new SIL is Safwat(sp?), she's 25 and seems to be the yang to his ying. He's very religious and quiet, she's religious and more outgoing and affectionate. Exactly what he needed to draw him out of his shell a bit. She could be here as early as next month. So where to put her? Stay tuned for that dilemma....

Holding HandsIssam and I had a nicer heart-to-heart talk last night as opposed to the one the previous night. Where we talked about our goals and hopes for each other and then talked about some sort of a plan. I feel a little better but there's still alot up in the air and I'm a planner. I like to anticipate the unexpected and plan for it...what can I say, I'm a geek!

"The guy who takes a chance, who walks the line between the known and unknown, who is unafraid of failure, will succeed." --Gordon Parks
(Just a note about good old Gordon--he's African-American and a famous photographer. Because of his work I made the life altering decision to pick up the camera and attempt to see the world in a different way. What could be more of a life altering experience than telling the man who changed my life that he did. In an unexpected to visit to one of the museums I was working in, Mr. Parks was taking a tour and had heard through other museum staff that I was a huge fan. So he and his ex-wife came over to me and we talked and talked and took a few pictures together. It was clearly one of the coolest days of my life and how comforting to see his quote and its subject at a time when I need to calm my fears ina challenging situation. Go Gordon!)
