But for right now, I'm going to focus on me and what I have to get done in order to get back on the right track.

Talked to Mom & Dad today. Both feeling a little bit under the weather.

Its almost 5 pm and despite all the madness, I actually got through the work day without inhaling any chocolate. I did however inhale a salad and lots of glasses of water

The MTA is going to refund me $49.50 for the metrocard mess up and I completed a big project at work today. So a little bit of sun has peeked through my black cloud. Two weeks into the new year and BAM!

Well think of this now, one month to Valentines Day

It's 7 p.m. and I'm all warm and toasty in the house . It's started to flurry outside a bit so on the way home I got us some provisions like another shovel (because there are 3 of us in this house with only 1 shovel, you do the math) and some salt to melt the ice. Hope there's not too much. Snow is such a pain. Don't get me wrong, it's very beautiful early in the morning when no ones stepped on it and its all soft and white but its a back breaker.

Sorry I'm such a downer today I'll work on it.

Some good news though, I am hopefully getting together with two of my fellow Wives of Moroccan partners in crime. Kim is coming up to see her husband Jim and Courtney (married to Adil who is presently in Iraq), the four of us are going to try to meet on Sunday for brunch or lunch in Manhattan. It's a nice surprise and is a refreshing change. I'm quite excited. I just need to find a place for us to meet and that will accomodate all our dining needs. [Pat, you & Mohammed will be there in spirit!!!]
