Just got back from an excellent lunch which was a farewell gathering for one of my co-workers, Paul. He's leaving us tomorrow and has been a great friend. Gonna miss you!
We ate at a Tex-Mex place called RED which is over by the South Street seaport. I had the shrimp quesadilla--very yum!
This was me this morning shoveling before I went to work while Issame (that bum) slept. Snow wasn't that bad, I was able to push it out of the way quite easily. So glad I picked up that new shovel.
Big weekend planned, going to meet up with some of my friends from the Wives of Moroccan group. Kim is heading up to see her hubby, Jim and Courtney (who's hubby is in Iraq). We'll be having brunch on Sunday.
On Saturday, I'll be meeting my friend to do some window shopping in Queens, and on Monday heading over to the Guggenheim museum to check out the exhibit there which is the James Rosenquist Retrospective. And I'll be having lunch with one of my favorite people and former roommate--Chandra.
Did I mention that Issame will be in Chicago?
moroccan stew
originally about an imperfect moroccan-american couple trying to make good on what they've got but that turned out to be too scandalous for some. So now, it's about me and my interests in Moroccan culture, arts, politics and social issues. Don;t get me wrong, there'll still be some bee-ing and moaning along the way and oh, yeah laughs, ha! ha! certainly lots of laughs!
