"Ramadan Central"

The phones were ringing off the hook last night as all the well wishers were calling to say "Mabruk Ramadan!" I always chuckle when I think that it's someone calling to say, "hey, have agreat time fasting!"

Not that you need to know this but it's s something you should be aware of, there are certain times of the month when a healthy woman is not allowed to fast. So if you know a woman who is fasting and you see her eating or drinking try to be sensitive to this issue and not call them out in the middle of the office--"WHAT ARE YOU DOING EATING, ITS RAMADAN!!??" And then all your co-workers wait anxiously for your embarrassed response: "uh, yeah I got my period!"
